Honoring a pioneer in education Maria Montessori:

Hello,

I have a lot of respect for the founder of the Montessori Schools.   Though a physician by trade and degree.  she  transformed the way children with disabilities were treated  and handled in the education system.  allotting them a place as functioning, purpose filled members of our societies.

  • Some of the things that are truly amazing about her:
  • she was the first female to earn the Doctrine of Medicine from University of Rome.
  • She traveled all across this globe studying children and disabled children, and in turned developed an educational model that works well for teaching children.

Loss of life while advocating.

Hello All,

Whether or not one agrees with the cause that Rachel took a stand for miniscule, compared to the price that she paid The question that I ask myself, is what price I am willing to pay to make a stand in what I believe in?  Or in the case of this article;  What will be the left over balance that my family have to cover when I am gone?
